Totally new from the ground up, the 2004 model is powered by a high-performance R6-based engine that is tuned to deliver serious mid range punch. The lightweight die-cast aluminium frame is fitted with Fazer 1000 type 43mm front forks and a box-section aluminium swingarm for highly agile handling – while dual underseat mufflers and R6-style 5-spoke wheels make this one of the most desirable middleweights in the class.
