The 498cm³ parallel twin water-cooled engine is tuned for rewarding low end power extending into a strong mid-range, ideal for tricky roads and city streets alike. The up to date upper cowl and Z1000 inspired headlamp and screen complement the new instruments, colours and graphics to bring the KLE500 bang up to date. Contemporary features also include three exhaust catalysers ensuring that the 8 valve DOHC motor runs clean as well as smooth.
